Does anyone know what shampoos are good to prevent hair loss?

i'm in my early 20's and...you know the rest!...so, any sugestions are welcomed!Does anyone know what shampoos are good to prevent hair loss?
Sorry to hear you are having problems. Go to a local hair salon. They should have a few different choices on products that will slow down the loss of hair. I usually sell Nioxin but there are more out there. Most of the time, it will come in a kit with 2-3 steps.

Keep in mind most of these products do no regrow hair....I have sold several myself...occasionally it will produce some baby fine hair but it isn't the same. However, most of them will aid in retarding the loss of hair.

I hope this helps.Does anyone know what shampoos are good to prevent hair loss?

I know that Nioxin makes a good product for fine and thinning hair:

You should also consult a dermatologist to possibly begin taking Propecia.

It has the potential to help you stop losing hair and may even regrow some of the hair that you lost.

I don't think there are any shampoos that will stop hair loss as hair loss is caused by a chemical on the INSIDE of your body.

Good luck to you!
Rogaine has shampoo.
mane n tail thickens hair. it just cost $8 a bottle. or $7. it is good.
Hair falls due to genetic reasons, stress, pollution, thyroid imbalance, chemicals in hair styling products and lack of proper nutrition. Home remedies are cheap , natural and without any side effects. Some of the home remedies for treating hair fall are:

1.Apply the white of a raw egg on the hair for 30 minutes, and then wash it off with a shampoo. A mixture of lemon juice and egg white could also be used to strengthen the roots of hair.

2. Massage the head with oil for 15-20 minutes and then rinse with a shampoo. A hot oil massage with olive oil will also help.

3.Apply a mixture of lemon juice and juice of amla to the scalp. This also helps control dandruff in the hair

4. Boil neem leaves in water for an hour and let it cool. Wash the hair with this water. Alternately neem oil can be mixed with coconut oil and massaged where there is hair fall

5. The juice of fresh coriander can be massaged onto the scalp will reduce hair loss.

6. Ensure that you eat nutritious food, with plenty of leafy vegetables. Have a soya milk drink and multivitamin tablets if you do not have time to have a healthy breakfast.

7. Apply conditioner only to your hair not to the scalp or hair roots. The conditioner could damage your hair. Henna (mehandi) will help control hair loss.

8.Try to reduce the stress and tension in your life, learn to relax. Stress causes hair loss.
get a wig !!!!!!!!!
None that work sadly or you'd never see a bald man in his 30/40's etc....hair loss is hereditary..if you dad or grandad is bald so are you gong to be my friend!

Its quicker and cheaper to get use to the fact your going to be a slap head and stop worrying about it...worrying gives you stress and stress will just speed up the process.
hmm.. well I don't know about shampoos, but I've heard that a good way to reduce hairloss is to wash your hair in warm water, not hot (and I wash mine every other day with shampoo, not every day)
a hair net or shave it and everyone will get used to it
i found this for you...........Thicker and fuller hair with Toppik UK hair loss treatments. ... Hair Treatment | Thickening Shampoo | Hair regrowth product | Thick Hair | Hair Loss Shampoo ........at.www.hair123.co.uk
you can bye shampoos that thicken your hair but the only ones that would really work and you would notice a difference is a product called kerastase which you can only go and buy in salons and it is quite expensive but kerastase is a very good brand!
leave in conditioner,,,but not a weekly thing,,hair breakage,hair loss,is due to lack of vitamin,and also stress,,and try and use less dryers,irons and such,,,,go naturall,,for a while,,give your hair a rest....
the more you mess with it the quicker it will start to go just wash it twice a week in a mild shampoo and conditioner and style it with what ever products you use, enjoy your hair while you can(sorry)...
I agree with Julie who said Nioxin... that's the best thing out there... Rogaine is OK, but as soon as you stop using it, the problem is back, because Rogaine's active ingredient is a drug, once you stop using it the symptoms return, so you must use it for life. Nioxin isn't something that you necessarily can't stop using (but it's better if you don't) plus it's all natural so you don't have to worry about side effects.

Go to a salon that sells Nioxin to have a stylist recommend what formula you should be using for your hair, or you can read more about it on their website... http://www.nioxin.com/

Hope this helps you!
shampoos only wash hair and make it shiny or flake free. you need to go to the health department and find some solutions to use.

maybe ur stressed out or something take a break and calm down . hsappened to me a bit
Massage aloe Vera gel over the scalp, leave it for about one hour. After this rinse the hair with warm water. It gives excellent results for hair loss if one uses this massage at least 3-4 times a week. Check out
